10.1 Vector
A quantity which
is completely specified by its magnitude as well as direction is called the
vector, e.g., weight, displacement,
velocity, acceleration etc. are examples of vector quantities.
Representation of Vector
A vector is represented by a line segment which is drawn in a given direction. A vector is denoted by placing arrow over two letters in which first letter indicates the initial point and the second letter indicates the end point or terminal point.
